About me and gardening….
I started my business, petite gardens, with the belief that everyone deserves the enjoyment of a garden. As a townhouse dweller, I am particularly interested in creating small gardens with high impact.
As a mum and pet owner, I appreciate the importance of designing gardens to suit the needs of all household members. It’s important for me to understand how you/your family wish to use the space, does your garden need to be kid and/or pet-friendly, do you like to entertain outdoors and so on.
I’m passionate about creating gardens that are very easy to maintain, giving you the confidence to take care of your garden. I try to not make gardening complicated or hard work. I focus on drought tolerant and low maintenance gardens for two main reasons;
even those of us that love gardens, often don’t have much time to care for them, and
they are generally kinder on the environment, using less water, producing less weeds and are often beneficial for local wildlife.
